Teacher
Here is a place to learn.
Many of the videos were made while teaching online Ceramics (throwing & hand building) and Painting classes during COVID-19 from 2020-2022. I actually hauled pottery wheels to my 2nd-year clay students' homes so they could learn to throw. We had a shed outside the art rooms where students would drop off work to be fired and pick up more supplies. Some of the Ceramics and Painting students were live-streamed during the lessons, while others watched the videos on their own time. Since most of the videos were recorded at school, there were bells, announcements, and assorted other interruptions. The videos made at home have fewer interruptions, but sometimes include my cat, Hugo The drawing videos were made during Visual Art I classes to allow students who were out sick or quarantined to follow along with in-person the class. Visual Art I can be squirrelly on the best days. The videos are unedited and fully reflect my work environment.
The plan is to continue to add videos for every lesson and improve the quality of the videos over time. After all, I am still a learner just like you.
